Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant field

A minimum of 7 years of Relevant Experience.

Project management certificate

Rail management certification

Trained in rail simulation and modelling

Assist in leading Organisations technical tendering activities in coordination with project teams and Procurement Department and ensure PMC's technical contribution and delivery of services meets the contract's requirements and scope of work.

Ensure timely coordination with the Program Control team and track and monitor progress of PMC by reviewing and validating progress reports generated on a monthly basis to report status of project against plan.

Determine inputs, statistics and actions, dependent on Organisations completion and ensure timely delivery to PMC is sustained at all times in order to successfully achieve set milestones in line with project delivery timelines.

Ensure the administration of audits and inspections, to evaluate whether internally established quality standards are met.

Requirement

Manage the interfaces with the various engineering disciplines including but not limited to civil and structural engineering, enabling the formulation of a suited signalling and train control implementation strategy, particular to the network that will accommodate the adopted construction phasing timetable.

Implement an integrated signalling and train control solution tailored to fit the implementation schedule and the network's operational requirements of Organisation. Ensure the implementation of the signalling and train control systems in collaboration with the HSSE&Q team and external regulatory institutions in order to ensure all health and safety related aspects are complied with during the implementation.

Control and manage the administration of contracted services to ensure service delivery is in accordance with the terms and conditions agreed to in the contract and in compliance with all applicable codes, standards, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements. Contribute effectively as a member of the Design Gateway Review Panel in the evaluation of the proposed delivery of all the design and testing stages, using progressive assurance techniques.

Contribute effectively as a member of the Technical Review Panel in the evaluation of major engineering contracts including preliminary engineering, civil works contracts and system works contracts.
