AI & ML Data Scientist (Senior - Director)

Company Profile

• A newly created, specialist data science team is now rapidly growing their team in Tokyo, working in close collaboration with different internal and external teams in Japan and worldwide. In this role you will be working in a highly stimulating environment to solve some of the most complex and impactful business problems.

The Role

• Apply data science methods and analytics to real-world business situations across a variety of industries.
• Synthesize complex data; apply modern machine learning techniques and translate this into business implications
• Designing innovative algorithms, creating scale through designing tools and apps
• Help build new Analytics service offerings that grow portfolio of products and services
• Proactively working with the Analytics Leadership to enhance offerings that deliver competitive advantage

Your Skills

• Deep data science expertise, and highly proficient in ML, AI, Predictive Modeling, NLP or Deep Learning
• Comfortable managing engagements, and client relationships.
• Supreme strategic and analytical skills, and desire to work in a project-based environment on strategic issues.
• Significant experience applying advanced analytics to a variety of business situations
• Fluency in at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, R)
• Preferably MSc or PhD degree in STEM, or other data-centric disciplines
• Japanese (Fluent level) / English (Business level)

Salary

• 12 mil yen- 24mil yen
