Duties & Responsibilities: • Oversees all feed production and deliveryactivities. • Must be capable of regular and predictableattendance • Ensure compliance with all governmentalregulations and agencies including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). • Provide leadership to employees • Establish and communicate expectations • Provide clear instructions • Coordinate production and deliveryscheduling • Oversees all feed production and deliveryactivities • Work with company nutritionist and relatedvendors to ensure high quality, cost effective, and value-added feed products. • Understand and ensure compliance with alltransportation, environmental, and feed production regulations and policies. • Focus on biosecurity, efficiency, value,and timeliness • Monitors all feed production equipment,facility, and truck maintenance and repairs • Maintains all required records anddocumentation related to production, drug/supplement usage and feedtransportation. • Provide information and recommendations toupper management related to feed production/transport, and related costreductions opportunities. • Establish, implement, and monitor aneffective preventative maintenance program and assist in appropriaterepair/replace decisions. • Establish new relationships with currentcustomers as well as prospective customers. • Prepare capital budgets and expenditures •Implement quality control and operating procedures for the feed mill.
