Senior Business Analyst (Information Technology)

Our companies and represented talent and brand clients collectively reach billions of passionate fans directly every single day.The Role And What You'll Do:Acting as part of the IT Enterprise Solutions team, the Senior Business Analyst will collaborate with Business Analyst(s) in delivering software solutions primarily for the Media rights division, in line with business requirements and timescales. The Senior Business Analyst will carry out general stakeholder management, requirements elicitation, create structured requirement and project documentation, compile compliance related artefacts, and manage UAT and deployment activities.The role will be based offshore in Bangalore, India and requires the successful applicant to work with colleagues in different timezones - India, the United Kingdom and the United States.This is an excellent opportunity to work at the intersection of sports, technology, and media rights, and contribute to the growth and success of our dynamic and fast-paced organisation.Stakeholder Management: Support the Director in managing relationships with business stakeholders and end usersBusiness Knowledge: Acquire an in depth understanding of the function and operation of assigned business areas so that you can provide the highest value to the customer through the lens of the technology and systems we supportBusiness Analysis: Be responsible for employing business analysis techniques and delivering business analysis artefacts including: Project scoping/shaping initiatives; Options analysis - Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for business, costs, operational and time feasibility; Elicitation activities: Facilitating and leading requirements workshops and/or interviews to understand the business problem(s), to establish requirements, and to assess impact of change on systems, processes and journeysAdditional Business Analysis: Model, shape and document requirements such as: Business process models, System process models, Data flow models, Business requirements document (BRD), Functional requirements document (FRD). Collaborate with UX/UI design team to produce solution design prototypes; Validation of deliverables: Presenting proposals and system demonstrations to business users and clients to achieve sign off; Working closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction; Support the Director with product vision and maintaining a feature roadmap; Support the training effort to users of a new systemCollaboration: Support project implementation through collaboration with business stakeholders, business analysts, project managers, UX/UI design team, developers, DBAs, infrastructure engineers, cyber security engineers, and compliance teamsProject Management: Be responsible for overseeing the on-time implementation of systems or system modules, including performing basic project management duties such as Project initiation duties; Stakeholder analysis; Project planning; Budget tracking; RAID register; Stakeholder communications & reporting; Compiling compliance related documentation and supporting audit related requestsProduct Support: Be responsible for product maintenance and support. This includes:Acting as the functional subject matter expert; Be responsible for documenting any change requests in well-defined user stories and to follow internal protocol for review and approval; Be responsible in monitoring and resolving application issues (assigned) raised through our corporate helpdesk; Investigate problems and other requests for support and determine appropriate actions to take, be it escalation or further investigation; Liaise with the application managers and solutions teams when necessary to resolve issues requiring more specialized interventionYou Have These:Minimum 8 years working experience as a business analyst across the full lifecycle of bespoke software development implementationsEstablished experience as a Senior Business Analyst with a proven track record of delivering complex, bespoke sales systems and/or enterprise implementation projectsExperience of developing and employing functional project artefacts (Project scope, business requirements specification, process diagrams, user stories, user interface design, UAT scripts)Evidence of managing relationships with business stakeholders and influencing cross-functional teams, ensuing close collaboration with design and development teamsExperience in leading projects and performing basic project management dutiesExcellent command of the English language in both verbal and written communicationSolid understanding of SDLCRequirements elicitation and managementExpertly employ business analysis artefacts including: Scope documentation; Business and functional requirements documentation; User stories; As-is / To-be process mapping; UAT documentation; Training documentationWorking with major project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Prince2 etc.)Working experience with the MS office suite of tools, including Visio and MS ProjectDesirable qualities include:Educated to a degree level in a technical fieldExperience working for large international corporationsWorking knowledge of the sports, media and/or entertainment industries Working knowledge in the sales and marketing domain Experience with working with international cross functional teamsVendor managementExperience in delivering mobile applicationsAn appreciation and understanding of basic UX principlesExperience working with data and business intelligence toolsPlease note this role works Monday to Friday 9am - 5.00pm (UK hours) however additional working hours will be required from time to time (for this no overtime will be paid). In IST this is from 2.30pm to 10.30pm. PRB
