Together, we lead and leave a positive impact on societies, companies and people around the world.Position Summary:Senior BIM Modeller - Public Health, as a senior member of the drafting team, is expected to coordinate with project managers, engineers and other technicians for technical delivery of wide range of engineering drawings for projects of varying complexity. In addition to engineering tasks, Senior BIM Modeller is also expected to support HoDs in competence development of the drafting team within the department. Principal technician would be key drivers for technical quality of the work and compliance with project objectives and quality standards.Responsibilities:Mentor - Provides guidance and knowledge to juniors and works towards competence enhancement of other technician within the teamWill coordinate with project managers and/or engineers for draughting work in a given project.Is responsible for technical correctness and timely delivery of the drawings and documents in his projectsUnderstanding of all aspects governing operational & up to date knowledge of the latest technological advancements, regulations/guidelines &statutory compliances in the industry.Effective resource planning/optimization with a focus on waste reduction, enhancing productivity & profitability; ability to use sound decision-making skills to effectively perform in a self-directed environment.Possessing valuable insights, keen analysis team approach to implement best practices, adept at working in high-pressure environments with strict deadlines &multiple deliverables.Technical expertise in Revit MEP (BIM software), AutoCAD MEP, Navis work, AutoCAD & familiar with BIM/CAD, ACAD - (2004 to 2012), Navisworks & Revit MEP 2009 to 2023.3D,4D Drawings.BIM MODELING, Coordination and Preparation BOQ.Will assist the project team towards developing/implementing draughting standards.Would assist in even distribution of work within the drafting teamWill assist in improving the efficiency and productivity of the drafting teamCommunicates the training and development needs to his supervisorExercises self-discipline and work ethicsRespect and follow company policies and proceduresRequired Skills and Qualifications:-Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI Trained Professional with minimum 4 to 10 years of professional experience ideally having worked on major Middle East , UK projects.Strong knowledge of Revit is essential.Knowledge of 3D modeling tools such as Revit & Navisworks would be desirableKnowledge of 3D modeling of all services Electrical, Mechanical, plumbing.Experience in preparing general arrangement drawings, Experience in all stages of drawings such as Concept, Schematic, Detail design and GFCA robust knowledge of Building Services design and experience of services full co-ordinationMust have knowledge of BIM/CAD standards and aware of Engineering terminologymust have experience on international projectself-motivated, team player and able to work independently with minimum supervisionFlexible attitude, in an environment with frequently changing deadlines can be relied on to meet deadlines,committed to both their work and personal development, with a willingness to widen their experience, including knowledge base and leadership skillsKnowledge of Microsoft applicationsGood level of written and spoken EnglishWelcome to our Buildings divisionAs one of the top 10 building designers in the world, Ramboll works on more than 10,000 building projects each year. 5,000 experts across the world specialize in creating more innovative, sustainable, and livable buildings.
