Job Description and QualificationsElectrical Supervisor (Power)LocationNeom Power Grid project siteCompany accommodationResponsibilitiesCreating a safe and secure workplace by conducting safety inspections, reviewing safety protocols, and providing training to employees on hazards in their workplacesMonitoring electrical systems to ensure they are functioning properly and resolving issues as neededMaintaining a safe work environment by monitoring work progress and inspecting construction sites for hazardsManaging a team of construction workers who are installing new wiring or repairing existing systemsEstimating materials costs and labor hours to complete projectsWorking with architects and engineers to design electrical systems for new buildings or renovationsEnsuring that safety regulations are followed during construction to prevent fires or electrocution hazardsEvaluating electrical systems to determine if they are functioning properly or need repair or replacementCoordinating with other departments to ensure that electrical work is completed efficientlyMonitor the Sub-Contractor's resources and productivity, and report out status, risks and issuesFamiliar with:Currentandvoltage transformersto step down the high voltages and currents of the electrical power system to convenient levels for the relays to deal withProtective relaysto sense the fault and initiate a trip, or disconnection, orderCircuit breakersorRCDsto open/close the system based on relay and auto recloser commandsBatteriesto provide power in case of power disconnection in the systemCommunication channels to allow analysis of current and voltage at remote terminals of a line and to allow remote tripping of equipment.Work with Construction Manager, Project Manager, to insure the safe compilation of the projectEssential Qualifications, Experience and SkillsAt least 10 years relevant site based experience in a Electrical Construction and Protection systems role in power transmission or related industryTeam PlayerStrong communicator written and oralOrganised, methodical and diligentStrong Microsoft software skillsAble to utilize knowledge, experience and good judgment to weightings of the ongoing activities and proactive to find out the opportunities and use to the favour of the project.Desirable Qualifications, Experience and SkillsDegree level Electrical engineering qualificationExperience of working on remote based construction sites in remote Middle East locationsWorking Hours 6 days/ week, 10hrs/day on site, excluding travel time between accommodation and site. Friday is Weekend'.Accommodation/TravelThe base will be a secured building provided by the company 15km from the job site
