Works as a team member and subject-matter expert in the development, implementation and evaluation of curricula. Advises Industrial Skills Trainers/Instructors I & II regarding effective training techniques.Responsible as an exemplary trainer for instructing employees and trainers in skills, techniques, methods and procedures in one or more of the following areas: maintenance, operations, technical crafts, services, safety, driving, drafting, laboratory, construction, heavy equipment, security, etc. Instructs, serves and advises all levels to other instructors and teach high level technical courses. Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) team member during the development of curricula.Key Responsibilities• Prepares and maintains training materials: lesson plans, in house quizzes, test, trainees' records, supplies, AV equipment, tools and training aids.• Instructs trainees in complex plant systems, operations and controls. Counsel trainees and maintain discipline for a safe and healthy work environment.• Develops, conducts and evaluates written, performance test and collect feedback.• Makes recommendations on and assists in the development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum and training aids.
