We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team at Alaqtar. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring business development activities, strategies, and action plans that promote our company's growth by developing new business channels, identifying lucrative opportunities, and seeking expansion of existing business relationships.Duties & Responsibilities: Develop the department's work plan and assign related activities to serve the achievement of the division's objectives. Participate in setting the objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the department that meets the set goals of the division. Supervise the implementation of the department's plans, monitor workflow, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures. Ensure that work activities are carried out according to the pre-set performance objectives and suggest any necessary actions to the direct supervisor. Contribute to the division's budget by setting the department's budget, as well as monitoring and regulating the department's expenditures. Manage and enhance our company's business development plans, based on the outcomes and insights gained from relevant studies and analysis in order to meet or exceed established strategic business objectives. Oversee the identification of new relevant stakeholders such as potential partners, landowners, governmental entities, regulatory bodies, and others, and facilitate the creation of networking opportunities. Establish a strong network with relevant stakeholders and maintain effective rapport with them. Oversee the process of analyzing the market research results, customer analysis, industry studies, and reports, among others, in order to identify new market segments and take the lead in seizing potential opportunities. Ensure a proper understanding of our company's capabilities, strengths, and competitive advantage, in order to evaluate the identified business opportunities in terms of their compatibility with such. Study potential business partners, analyze their capabilities and the value they may add to our company's business lines, in order to build a proper understanding before establishing contact and initiating negotiations. Plan the process of keeping track of competitors' activities, business lines, and delivered services, in order to find new ways and opportunities for utilizing our company's capabilities to achieve new competitive advantages. Utilize our company's business plan and opportunistic business models to source deals and opportunities that align with our company's vision. Validate and review all developed proposals, reports, and presentations to potential clients, ensuring their alignment with the function's policies and standards. Supervise the update of the business development database containing all relevant information and reports regarding previous, current, and potential business development opportunities, and partners, as well as ensuring that it is arranged in a systematic manner that supports it. Attend industry-related events, exhibitions, seminars, conferences, and trade shows in order to assess the feasibility of penetrating new markets, segments, and territories. Prompt the exploration of new technologies, products, and opportunities, in order to provide recommendations to enhance and reinforce our company's capabilities and value stream. Perform any other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor.
