Construction Contract

We are seeking an experienced Construction Contract / Technical Writer - someone who'll be able to Review current technical and commercial templates being used for Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts. This role would be an initial 12 Month contract - with a view to extend afterwards. JD below

• Overhaul of Microsoft's global scope of work and construction engineering
• Adapting and modifying global template to country specific requirements in the APAC region
• Reviewing current technical and commercial templates being used for Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts
• Coordinate all 19 countries in APAC to the new global set of templates

Business Division:

• Team size: Team of 4, Manager and 2 others in the US, 1 other in EMEA where you will be interfacing closely with the Global Supply Chain team in Singapore
• Purpose of the team: Overhaul of global rewrite of Construction & Engineering Templates

Typical Day in the Role:

• • Reviewing and editing large amounts of construction documents to consolidate into one master contract
• Tracking, coordinating and reviewing comments or errors flagged by EPC stakeholders on documents with decision markers

Candidate Requirements:

1. At least 5-8 years of construction contract or technical writing experience. This may be in the profession of a Technical Writer, Quantity Surveyor, Construction Engineer or Cost / Commercial Manager
2. Construction experience across APAC region
3. Exposure or experience in data centers and / or direct experience managing or administration a construction project would be an added advantage
