Prior to receiving PE backing, the business had grown organically as well as via acquisition expanding their international footprint. With funding from a leading global tech investor, they are looking to accelerate further M&A growth alongside investing in further product development to win new business as well as upsell to existing clients.They're seeking a seasoned CFO to lead on financial strategy, M&A and to drive them from €50 million to €100 million in revenue and beyond.The roleAs the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of the organisation. Your expertise in navigating the complexities of B2B SaaS businesses, coupled with a proven track record of success in a PE-backed environment, will be instrumental in propelling the company toward their ambitious growth targets. You will collaborate closely with the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies that optimize performance, mitigate risk, and maximise shareholder value.Key responsibilitiesProvide strategic financial leadership to drive growth and profitability.Manage capital allocation and investment decisions to support expansion initiatives.Optimise financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and scalability.Establish robust controls and risk management practices to safeguard assets.Build and mentor a high-performing finance team to support our growth objectives.Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate potential M&A opportunities and integration strategies.Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and board of directors on all financial matters.Key requirementsQualified AccountantProven track record of success as a CFO or senior finance executive in a B2B SaaS environment.Experience scaling a business from $50 million to $100 million in revenue within a PE-backed setting.Strong understanding of SaaS business models, revenue recognition, and subscription metrics.Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance and operational excellence.Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
