Utilising a broad range of industry best-of-breed methods, our GCPCoE ideates, designs and deploys SoftwareONE's cloud infrastructure & automation products & platforms, defining global standards and ensuring architectural principles are applied. This new role will have two primary responsibilities as we grow the business:Working closely with sales teams, pre-sales architects & other stakeholders across the business to support opportunities, RFPs, etc as a subject matter expert, whilst providing critical feedback and visibility into the CoE team of how our customers' needs are evolving.Helping to scale the business by developing and delivering reusable content & artefacts, enabling pre-sales teams across the business to become more skilled in cloud solution selling.This is a fantastic, unique opportunity to develop and define a new role, with a global impact! Additional languages are a bonus!Desire to build something new, innovative, and disruptiveKnowledge, Experience, and ExpertiseDeep expertise in designing GCP environments; service provider, migration and transformation experience is a bonusExperience working with Google Cloud in either a consulting, pre-sales or engineering role, with a focus on technical pre-sales; experience supporting large opportunities will be invaluableComfortable engaging at all levels of a customer's business, from working with senior/C-level leadership to guiding IT-specialists and developers on building solutionsComfortable presenting, sharing knowledge and opinions through both formal and informal methods to a variety of audiences, via multiple mediums such as whiteboarding, phone / video conference, stage, etc.Experience leading workshops, exploring requirements & mapping solutionsGood understanding of modern application landscapes & dependencies on infrastructureAny appreciable application development, DevOps or Big Data experience is not required but would be advantageousKnowledge of common operating systems (Linux / Windows), networking, structured and unstructured datastoresCertified in at least one public cloud, ideally to Professional level.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred#LI-CD1 Job FunctionSW&C Marketplace Delivery
