Looking to take the next step in your career as a Project Engineer? We are representing a top-tier player in the construction industry and they're seeking talented individuals to join their dynamic team. As a Project Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of project operations, ensuring smooth execution and delivery. You'll work closely with project teams, oversee site operations, manage documentation, and contribute to safety and quality standards. What we're seeking:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (NZQF Level 7/8)
- 5+ years' experience in mid to large-scale roading projects
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and project management principles
- Knowledge of engineering principles for good practice in NZ Civil projects
- Design and construction of highways, roads, or bridges
- Proficiency in managing budgets, schedules, and resources
- Experience with environmental assessments and compliance
- Working knowledge of construction methodologies and materials
- Prioritize safety and demonstrate a strong work ethic
- Possess a positive attitude and are reliable team players
- Are proactive problem solvers and effective communicators
- Take pride in their work and contribute positively to team dynamics
