Responsibilities: · Supply Chain Knowledge: A deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, production, inventory management, and distribution. · Transportation Management: Proficiency in managing various modes of transportation, including road, rail and air to optimize logistics operations. · Logistics Technology: Familiarity with logistics management software, transportation management systems (TMS), and other technology tools to enhance efficiency and visibility. · Cost Management: The ability to control logistics costs while maintaining service levels and quality, including managing freight rates and transportation expenses. · Supplier and Vendor Management: Managing relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate deliveries and address any supply chain disruptions. · Risk Management: The capability to identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as disruptions due to natural disasters, geopolitical factors, or market fluctuations. · Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing logistics data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to make data-driven decisions and improve operations. · Project Management: Managing logistics improvement projects, such as process optimization, cost reduction initiatives, or technology implementations.· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration with various departments, including procurement, manufacturing, sales, and customer service.· Time Management: Efficiently managing time and resources to meet deadlines and operational goals.· Customer Service Orientation: A customer-centric mindset to ensure timely and accurate delivery to meet customer expectations.· Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills to motivate, train, and manage logistics staff effectively.· Continuous Improvement: A commitment to ongoing learning and process improvement to enhance logistics efficiency and performance.· Problem-Solving: The ability to identify and address logistics challenges and disruptions swiftly and effectively. Must Have: · 3-5 Years of experience in Supply Chain.· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.· Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools.· Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.· Familiarity with supply chain software and systems.· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.· Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
