Sourcing Manager - OEM, RFQ and RFI

We are looking for an experienced procurement professional to support the OEM procurement group of Mavenir. The role is based in our office in India. As a part of the Global Procurement Team, the individual will be responsible for sourcing activities of Mavenir's global requirements.This position will report to the Sr. Manager of Global Sourcing. Key Responsibilities:Should know Telecom Operator's end-to-end RFP process. Knowledge of Packet core & RAN technologies will be an added advantage.Take sales teams' requirements & share them with vendors.·Get compliance, First cut quotes & Negotiate with vendors for sales bidding.Ensure Back-to-back alignment of terms & SLAs between vendors & customers.Evaluate suppliers' quotations, Conduct commercial and legal negotiations with suppliers on price, delivery, quality, and terms & conditions to ensure cost optimization. Manage the business relations with different vendors & Internal customers. Manage and monitor suppliers' performance, issue relevant reports, engage in ongoing cost reduction activities.Help to draft, implement, and adjust sourcing strategies. Ensure that data entered in Procurement systems is clear and accurate for reporting purposes.Meet with internal customers to determine requirements, strategies, change in direction and ensure ongoing compliance and communication of Procurement's policies and tools.Source new services and products upon receipt of a clear specification from the requestor. Explore & Evaluate new business opportunities (new suppliers, business models and methods).Liaison closely with various internal stakeholders- Legal, Supply chain, business, and technical.Perform cost and financial spend analysis.Represent Mavenir in a professional, coordinated and effective manner.Job Requirements: 10 to 15 years of experience in a similar rolein purchasing & bidding practices and procedures within the OEM/IT or Telco arena is essential.knowledge in Procuring OEM HW, SW and Associated ServicesExperience working for global organizations.Must be able to work under minimal supervision.analytical skills.be quick, agile, and highly responsive.interpersonal skills, a team player.with ERP systems such as Oracle & SAP or equivalent.
