Hiring for a Director in Data Science and Business Intelligence in Mumbai.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skillsMBA or advanced degree in Statistics, Math, Engineering or other quantitative-focused field preferred15+ years of experience in Data Science, AI / ML, Data Modelling, Business Intelligence, Client IntelligenceExperience using computer languages (Python, Pyspark, Google Analytics, etc.) to manipulate and analyze large datasets.Experience using machine learning libraries in Python (Numpy, Pandas, Sci-kit learn, TensorFlow, etc.)Knowledge of a variety of machine learning algorithms (linear regression, logistic regression, SVMs, Tree-based models, neural networks, etc.) and techniques (cross-validation, feature selection approaches, hyperparameter optimization, missing data imputation, etc.)Strong visualization capabilities and experience with BI tools (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, etc).Technical expertise in data mining (SQL, Python, etc)Experienced people manager adept at working in matrix organization and managing dynamic high-performance teamsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsUnderstanding of Investment Management Business, Mutual Funds, Managed Accounts, and/or Separate Accounts are preferableA balanced approach combining judgment, analytical rigor, curiosity, open-mindedness and creativity.
