Release Train Engineer / Project Manager

Job Summary: Facilitate the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agile Release Train (ART) processes/ceremonies and execution within the division of Vision Technology Solutions, escalate issues, manage risk, and help drive continuous improvement. You are responsible for facilitating work within the SAFe framework and coordinating with all teams across the organization. This includes: Lead and facilitate agile teams on the ART through development and delivery, guide the transition to and implementation of SAFe.Manage end to end ART execution and coaching the ART.Plan and facilitate all aspects of Product Increment planning on a quarterly basis.Identify and deploy key metrics to enable continuous improvement.Facilitate issue resolution in a timely, cost-effective manner.Manage development and maintenance projects for hardware and software products from initialization through to project closure. This includes:Professional leadership of cross functional project teams to execute and deliver products and organizational improvements.Definition of project goals, development of project plans, definition of work packages, budget, and resource planning.Monitoring milestones, cost and quality in projects and identifying potential for optimizations as well as highlighting any project risks.Initiate corrective measures in case of deviations from plans during the project.Preparation, documentation and presentation of project status reports and decision proposals for various audiences.Integrate and steer external development partners and service providers. Key Responsibilities: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.2+ years' experience working in scaled agile environment as RTE or Project Manager with a minimum of 4 agile teams.5+ years' experience leading agile teams as Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Product Owner.Experience with project management methods and tools (waterfall and agile).Experience in regulated environments is a plus e.g., medical devices.Very good planning and organizational skills to facilitate and provide structure for others.Superior communications skills with all levels of employees and both internal and external stakeholders-including presentations, negotiations, and written reports.An emphatic, structured, decisive and goal-oriented self-starter with good conflict resolution skills.Fluent written and spoken English skills.Ability to work from Bangalore as base location.Willingness to travel frequently (20%).
