You will be responsible for managing the quantity surveying process, ensuring accurate project costing, and efficiently handling billing and invoicing activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering, exceptional quantitative skills, and a keen eye for detail.What You Will Be DoingQuantity Surveying:Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for civil construction projects.Collaborate with project teams to gather relevant data and ensure accurate quantity surveying.Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction lifecycle.Billing and Invoicing:Develop and implement billing and invoicing procedures for civil projects.Prepare and submit accurate and timely invoices.Address and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues in collaboration with team members.Cost Control and Analysis:Analyze project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide recommendations to management.Regularly review project budgets and financial reports to ensure alignment with company goals.Contractual Compliance:Ensure compliance with contractual obligations related to quantity surveying and billing.Collaborate with legal and project management teams to address any contractual disputes or issues.Team Collaboration:Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather accurate data for quantity surveying and billing.Provide guidance and training to junior staff members involved in quantity surveying and billing activities.What You Bring To The Table8 to 10 years of experience in quantity surveying and billing for civil construction projectsStrong knowledge of construction contracts and relevant regulations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in relevant software and tools for quantity surveying and billing.Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.What Really Wows UsIn depth understanding of real estate industry trends.Entrepreneurial DNA and a high-ownership approach towards challenges.The Fine Print32nd is committed to equal employment opportunities regardless of race, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, and veteran status.
