JOB DESCRIPTION:Ability to convert Industrial Design A-Surface to DFM ready parts, understand Plastic Manufacturing process and optimize design for cost and manufacturability.Ability to work on Surface model in CAD in SolidWorks.Ability to do design calculations for strength, force, friction, snaps, bending moments, impact etc.Ability to be innovative in conceptual problem solving and come up with creative engineering solutions.NOTE: DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE PRIOR EXPEREINCE IN PLASTIC PART DESIGNNo of Opening: 3Experience: 3 to 5 yearsRequired Skill Set:Concept Design, Part Split up, ID to DFM Conversion, surface modelling Plastic DesignPlastic Product Manufacturing process skill set like FDM, SLA, SLS, Injection moulding, Silicon MouldingEngg Basics & CalculationsExperience in IP Related Enclosure designThermal related Problem solving skillDFM, DFA & DFSGD&T Tolerance stack-up analysisIn hand experience proto development, testing & validationShould be able to develop a project from concept definition to production detail designCritical thinking & problem solvingUnderstanding of E&E from cross functional teamGood communication and presentation skillsWritten and oral communication.
