Job DescriptionTo support FS Advisory Credit Risk Team in delivery of services to / at client premises on delegated engagements and projects. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications and Experience required:      Undergraduate degree specializing in one or more of the following disciplines: Statistics, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Economics or EconometricsAt least 3 years of relevant work experience in banking, financial services consulting, or similar environmentFundamental credit risk modelling capabilities including predictive modelling techniquesBasic understanding of the credit lifecycle, model risk management, Basel III regulations and the IFRS 9 standardComputer literacy:  MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointCoding skills: SAS, SAS (Enterprise Guide), R, and/or PythonPersonal aptitudes: Reliable, diligent, accountable, teachable, collaborative, attentive to detailRoles & ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and calibration of credit risk modelsModel validation, monitoring, and testingBenchmarking credit metrics amongst peers in a marketDerivation of portfolio credit analyticsReview of client deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and completenessCommunication of project challenges and outcomes with clients and team membersDrafting of project reportsSharing of knowledge and skills with colleagues Additional Information *Please note that this job advertisement provides a summary of the capabilities required and all candidates shortlisted will receive a full list of capabilities. Hybrid  policyDeloitte Africa has successfully launched the Hybrid Working model.
