Learn more about us here: About AutoVRseWhat will you be working on?As a 3D Animator, you will work closely with the rest of the art & development team to bring 3D assets & characters to life. We hire people with a broad set of technical skills, who have a passion for gaming / VR / 3D, and are excited to create diverse, impactful and memorable experiences for our customers. Your enthusiasm to take on new problems is what will help us push the boundaries of what is possible in VR apps today.How can you help us?Interpreting concepts and ideas as "movements" for a characters or objects.Creating workable rigs for characters, machines, automobiles etc.Optimize animations according to the performance constraints of VR/AR platforms and implement them effectively into the game engine.Collaborate with the art, design, and programming teams to ensure that animations seamlessly fit with other elements of the VR/AR application.Iterate on animations based on feedback from playtests, user testing, and team reviews to ensure they meet both user needs and design goals.Following design guidelines, asset naming conventions and other technical constraintsQualificationsBachelors in Animation, Design, Computer Graphics, or related field, or equivalent experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skill in 3D animation.Familiarity with the specific considerations and constraints of animation for VR/AR applications, such as optimizing for performance, designing for user comfort, and creating immersive, engaging experiences.Proficiency in 3D animation software (Maya, Blender, 3ds Max etc.) and experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
