Accounts Receivable Specialist

My highly successful Irish SME client, located on the outskirts of Limerick City, are seeking a talented and motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their finance team. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to optimize cash flow. Responsibilities

• Generate and issue accurate and timely customer invoices
• Address any discrepancies in a proactive and efficient manner
• Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
• Reconcile discrepancies and resolve issues with customers promptly
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams
• Communicate with customers to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Respond to inquiries and provide excellent customer service.

• 3+ years working in Accounts Receivable
• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a similar role
• Excellent attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
