Support expansionprojects Activities and provide detailed IT technical expertise,Implement and operate the network infrastructure for the projectoffices works under general direction, uses discretion inidentifying and resolving complex problems, independently resolveday to day issues and plans own work to support the projectsactivities. Key Job Accountabilities • Work closely withmajor project team & contractors to ensure fast, smoothroll-out of infrastructure for project offices and provision of theremote connectivity. • Create and update the networkdocumentation and ensure that the network is deployed based on theproject requirements in alignment with Qatargas internal policiesand procedures. • Work non-traditional hours whennecessary to support the business users and fix the network relatedissues. • Carries out agreed operational proceduresassociated with operating and controlling the installed (orvirtual) hardware and software. This may include configuration andmaintenance of multiple hardware or software platforms. Implementsmaintenance routines, utilizing the appropriate tools and testequipment. Uses standard procedures and tools to carry out definedsystem backups, restoring data where necessary. (ITOP 301)• Uses infrastructure management tools to collect andreport on load and performance data and statistics. Carries outrequired monitoring, logging and reporting tasks. (ITOP302)
