Responsiblity:Managing theplanning and design stages of civil engineeringprojects.Performing due diligence on theimpact and feasibility of new constructionsites.Overseeing all project stages frompreliminary layouts to final engineeringdesigns.Surveying new construction sites andassessing existing structures forupgrades.Designing and recommendingimprovements to computer-aided design (CAD) software drawings andschematics.Performing cost estimations andpreparing project budgets.Preparing workschedules and allocating resources, as well as supervising juniorengineers, construction managers, workers, technicians, andcontractors.Ensuring that civil engineeringprojects are completed on time and withinbudget.Inspecting completed projects forcompliance with industry codes, specifications, and safetystandards.Documenting processes and presentingproject progress updates to senior managers andclients.
