Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer who isspecialized in Civil & Structural Engineering to join ourProject Management team (PMT). Saudi Aramco Project ManagementTeams are responsible and accountable for the delivery of best inclass capital projects. PMT is directly involved in executing andmanaging assigned projects safely on schedule within budget and tothe highest standards of integrity and compliance. This willinvolve engineering design procurement and construction of varioussizes ($) types and complexity of small medium tomultibilliondollar mega projects. Project Management Team managesand executes projects usually from multiple site offices orengineering contractor design offices geographically scatteredthroughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Civil Engineer primaryrole is to ensure that engineering design procurement constructionand project completion is done in compliance with the projectobjective and contractual requirements i.e. project schedule costHSE company standards and procedures. The role also involves reviewand study of grass root and brown field facilities.KeyResponsibilities: Execute capital projects according to the scope scheduleand budget. Perform complex technical andadministrative tasks relative to the Design and coordination ofcivil & structural packages. Providetechnical input and review of the design constructionprecommissioning commissioning and startup offacilities. Address technical issues arisingin all phases of the project development related to civil &structural packages of the facilities.Responsible for project development: engineering studiestechnical bid reviews preliminary engineering detail designsmaterials procurement construction precommissioning handovercommissioning and startup. Review/provideinput to the design of civil/structural packages that fully complywith Saudi Aramco standards and specifications.Manage GES design contractor activities during thedevelopment of PreFEED & FEED including definition of projectwork scope and schedule requirements. Development of detailedestimate leading to funding appropriation and approval.Stay up to date with international procedures of ProjectsPhases Engineering Phases Bidding procedures Procurement ProcessesConstruction Requirements and uptodate Best Practices.Have a full understanding of contract documents(inclusive of appendices drawings and specifications) projectexecution plan interface management change management constructionsequencing standards specifications and project schedule to ensuretimely completion of projects. Review andresolve daytoday contractors activities related to assigned projectwork during construction and ensure HSE compliance.Participate in developing civil/structural packagesdeliverables and others such as plot plans Piping Plans foundationdetails load assessments stress analysis Data Sheets structuraldetails BRAs geotechnical & soil tests etc.Provide design input in identification sizing selectionprocurement of civil/structural material.Provide design input to facilities such as pipe rackssubstations PIBs control buildings valve stations process plants ofOil Gas refining NGL utilities etc. Performchange order scope definition cost estimation and assist the PM orCompany representative in the change management process.Review weekly/monthly reports on the status/progress ofcontracts including project costs and schedule. Attend projectmeetings e.g. progress stakeholders design review valueimprovement. Review project schedulecoordinate/monitor assigned project progress and challenge belowpar performance of the contractor. Reviewcoordinate monitor invoices (claimed vs actual) and contractorssubmittals. Perform Project Reporting andimplementation of company initiatives during projectexecution. Review design/study civil &structural modifications to the facilities.Provide routine civil & structural (design andconstruction) support to facilities. Developand/or review testing procedures for civil & structuralpackages. Requirements: Willingness to permanentlyrelocate to Dhahran Saudi Arabia.Hold a Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural Engineeringfrom a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree ispreferred. 15 years of experience in the OilGas and refining industries with a specialty in Civil &Structural Engineering with at least five years of field experienceincluding construction precommissioning commissioning startup andoperation. Subject matter expert in Civil& Structural Engineering. Possessexcellent English verbal and written communicationskills. Engineering Design & Constructionphase experience with a thorough knowledge of engineering practicesand economic principles in the applicable International CodesStandards and Specifications. Possess adynamic attitude towards project improvements and savings; PMPCertification is desirable but not mandatory.Flexible to work in multinational teams and mobilize todifferent locations including remote areas as needed.Civil,Structural,Engineering
