**We onlyconsider candidates local to Phoenix, Arizona. No C2Ccandidates**Thisis a remoterole.Responsiblefor professionally and courteously serving customers by handlingall inbound telephonecalls pertaining toIndividual and Business-related tax compliance, delinquency andgeneral information requests and inquiries. This position includesdealingwitha high volumeofincoming phonecalls, reviewing taxpayerstatus and history, verifying, gathering and simultaneouslyupdating key information details, educating taxpayers on currenttax policies, submitting requests for payment arrangements,resolving Tier 1 level issues, determining next steps to resolutionand documenting actions taken into multiple business systems.Responsibilities also include assisting taxpayers tonavigateAZTaxes website and any current self-servicing options.Expected to prepare and submit electronic support requestsaccording todepartmentstandard procedures. When necessary,theTier 1agentwill escalate to a Tier 2 Subject Matter Expert. Thisindividual is expected to participate in huddles as scheduledbycallcenterleadership and to actively practice any Six Sigma Leanpractices as embraced bytheDepartment.Skills Required Strong ability tomulti-task; basic useofMicrosoft Word, Excel and Google applications;communicate well both in writing and verbally; great interpersonalskills; retain knowledge easily; creative in problem solving; goaloriented; organized; bias for serving others.Skills PreferredSpanish-speakingpreferred. Experience Required One or more years(minimumof 1continuous year) working in a high volumecallcenterenvironment.ExperiencePreferred ExperiencewithContinuous Improvement, Six Sigma and/or Lean ispreferred. EducationRequired High school diploma orequivalent.EducationPreferred Associates Degree or higherpreferred AdditionalInformation Must havetheability to work flexible hours or schedule as dictatedby business needs. Training is 4 weeks in duration from 8am to 5pm.After training, work hours are 8:45 to5:15pm. This is afully remote position requiring internet accesswithsufficient bandwidth to handle applications requiredforthejob duties.Candidates must live inthePhoenix area and be able to attend 1st day orientationin person. Selected candidates will be required to abidebytherequired pre-employment checks including criminal andbackground check including fingerprinting and Arizona tax filingsrecordscheck.High School Diploma or equivalent
