To design, develop and deliverQAST s Metal & Wood program at theintroductory-intermediate levelLiaiseeffectively with the QAST Director, Principal, Innovation CenterTeam and core teachers.Support, implement andhelp manage the design and procurement of materials for the QASTMetal & Wood program and innovationcenter.Have experience using some of thefollowing curricula and programs: Common Core, AERO, NGSS, AdvancedPlacement, A-Level (EDEXCEL and or Cambridge exam board experiencepreferred) and IGCSE.Have experience with awide range of student assessment practices and be able to implementmastery-based rubrics for a range of student s skills andabilities.Have experience with and the abilityto conduct a student assessment program using performancebasedrubrics.Establish and maintain effectiverelations with regional schools, educational and governmentalorganizations, and community groups to strengthen partnerships andgrow the curricular and educational support at the QAST School andspecifically for the InnovationCenter.Facilitate partnerships with governmentand corporate bodies to obtain resources and to build knowledgepartnerships.Support teacher training forteachers in the QF schools' STEM programs related toinnovative science and specifically chemistryprograms.Communicate effectively with a widerange of stakeholders and participants: students and teachers fromwithin and outside of Qatar; regional directors and schoolleadership; QF leadership, board of governors and management;corporate and other institutionalpartners.Exercise responsibility for Healthand Safety in the Innovation Center in collaboration with QatarFoundation HSSE.
