In recognition of its high quality and patient safety, the AKUH is accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI) as an Academic Medical Centre and its Clinical Laboratories are accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) for fast and accurate testing.The Department of Radiology offers a comprehensive range of highly sophisticated imaging tests and procedures that are conducted in a welcoming environment that focuses on quality and patient comfort. The diagnostic services are supported by advanced, state-of-the-art technologies like 3T MRI, 640 slice CT, Mammography, Bone density, Nuclear Imaging, Interventional services, general x-rays, etc. The department is dedicated to patient services and imaging excellence through highest professional and technological standards. The department maintains state-of-the-art technology imaging services to provide our physicians and patients with the most accurate, timely and informative results.ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible to:provide technical support for the research and operational activities of the center's Cyclotron.perform and document tasks associated with the production of PET radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with good medical practice (GMP) and PNRA guidelines.label and document dispensing radiopharmaceuticals according to (GMP) and PNRA guidelines.perform preventive maintenance and repair of cyclotron and auxiliary devices and systems.perform and document quality assurance tests on laboratory instruments & radiopharmaceutical in accordance with (GMP) and PNRA guidelines.maintain inventory and written records to ensure proper utilization of materials and accounting for applicable State radioactive material licensing and appropriate manufacturing guidelines.perform and document radiation safety tasks including well checks & efficiencies, room wipes & surveys and waste management when necessary and as required.Requirements You should have: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biomedical or Electronic Engineering, Physics  or Associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering or related field Minimum of 1 year of related experience for Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 3 years of related experience for Associate Degree Work experience on ABT Biomarker Generator (BG-75) is preferred Good knowledge in the operation of a cyclotron. Three year experience of operating a cyclotron and radiopharmaceutical production. proven ability to troubleshoot problems and interpret policies and procedures. Ability to work independently or as part of a cross-functional team. Effective communication skills with a proven ability to interpret information and follow semi-complex instructions.
