Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirementsWork with development and support leads to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for data compilation and centralized storageResearch, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirementsIndependently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentationProduce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audienceWrite easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and customer e-guidesCreate tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applicationsAnalyze existing content and suggest potential improvementsRequired Experience and KnowledgeBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferredMinimum of 2+ years of experience in technical content writingSuperior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detailAbility to deliver high quality documentation with excellent attention to detailStrong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeBasic familiarity with the SDLC and software developmentProven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topicsRequired Skill SetQuick learning curveMust have some experience writing content on technical topics centered on B2B style contentAbility to multi-taskAbility to work under deadlines and deliver on time
