We are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join our team as anAssistant Manager for Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS). The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing and maintaining safety standards, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and promoting a culture of health and safety within our organization. This position requires a proactive approach to risk management, strong management skills, and the ability to collaborate across various departments.

Major Responsibilities:

Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.

Assess potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate or eliminate them. Collaborate with department heads to identify and implement corrective measures.

Develop and conduct EHS training programs for employees to raise awareness and promote a safety-conscious culture.

Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures. Conduct drills and simulations to ensure preparedness in the event of emergencies.

Lead investigations into accidents, near misses, and incidents to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.

Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into daily operations. Liaise with regulatory agencies and external partners as needed.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.

Proven experience in EHS management, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role.

In-depth knowledge of local safety and environmental regulations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
