To apply for this position, please fill in the google form at this URL: https://forms.gle/kvymW5kiwh4Eu8Qv5(Copy and paste link in browser to open) ONLY APPLICATIONS RECEIVED VIA THE LINK WILL BE CONSIDERED.Please note that the responsibilities detailed below may vary based on the strengths and capabilities of the successful candidate.Key tasks:a) Design components and larger assemblies for goods hoists, platform liftsand dumbwaiters e.g. modifications for existing lifts, new components andassemblies for our own lifts, custom lifts to suit unique customer requirementsetc. The complexity of this design work will increase with experience.b) Produce drawings for customers, architects, civil engineers, consultants andothers for new lift installations. A solid grasp of our lift regulations,manufacturing strengths and weaknesses, and the engineering behind our productswill be required to execute effectively on this responsibility.c) Identify and streamline key tasks within our administration,manufacturing, quotation, drawing, and installation processes. This will almostcertainly include some programming within Inventor, and will require a solidgrasp of the details and requirements of those processes.d) "Process" standard hoists, dumb waiters, and platform lifts - essentiallyprovide the factory with all the information they need to manufacture theproduct. Initially, these units will be relatively simple, with complexityincreasing after sufficient experience. Streamlining this aspect of the role iscritical.e) Nest the sheet metal for the standard units mentioned above using Cypcut,and investigate streamlining the nesting process through alternative programs,perhaps within Inventor's own nesting software. Currently, nesting isinefficient. The new engineer will be expected to overhaul the nesting process,or alternatively free up another engineer so they can overhaul it.     QualificationsDiploma in Mech engineeringor B.TechAdditional InformationPosition available immediatley
