Staff DevOps Engineer

Our client is one of the worlds leading E-Commerce Organisations and we are recruiting for a Staff DevOps Engineer to join their Belfast-based software research team. You will be working in one of the fastest growing technology sectors; with a small but expert team in Belfast that is part of a global organisation meaning you will have autonomy and ownership to make a global impact. The Role Automate and maintain cloud-based development, test and production environments Design infrastructure solutions that ensure availability, performance, scalability and security Automate and streamline build & deploy processes Build, release and configuration management of test and production infrastructure code. System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains. Skills Requirements Essential Strong experience working in a modern DevOps role or in a Software Engineering role where there is a strong DevOps culture. Exposure to modern CI/CD pipeline practices Experience in working with Containers (e.g. Docker) & Container Orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, Helm) Experience in working with Microservice-based architectures Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, Perl, JavaScript) Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.
