- Monitor and analyse global exploration and appraisal activity.
- Leverage data to produce high-quality, informed research content in the form of thought-provoking articles, presentations, and reports.
- Develop a unique perspective and understanding of the upstream and new energies sectors
- Assess industry performance and outlook data relating to exploration and appraisal, developing a deep understanding of APAC petroleum provinces
- Form opinions on prevailing business contexts, corporate strategies, exploration and appraisal, access, M&A, petroleum economics, government energy policy and regional geopolitics.
- Strengthen your network of contacts at key companies and industry bodies through research-led client engagement and business development.
- Contribute to our industry-leading reports, economic analysis and thought-leading content.
- Minimum 3 years of previous experience in a geotechnical role in the upstream oil and gas sector
- Passionate and knowledgeable about upstream oil and gas and keen to develop an in-depth understanding of the broader energy sector
- Analytical mindset and an eye for detail
- Comfortable collecting and interpreting data, and articulating your findings clearly and insightfully
- A flair for writing and communication
- Ambition to be an influential subject matter expert setting the industry agenda
- An engaging, proactive nature, capable of connecting with co-workers, clients and industry
- Strong communication skills. Comfortable interacting with clients and industry stakeholders
- Self-starter that can work independently and as part of a team.
- We are a hybrid working company and the successful applicant will be expected to be physically present in the office at least 2 days per week to foster and contribute to a collaborative environment
- While this is expected to be a full-time role, part-time or flexible working arrangements will be considered.
