DevOps Developer [Linux, Docker, Nginx, Python]

Responsibilities: - Manage and monitor Linux-based servers or virtual machine environments- Develop and maintain docker images and container-based virtualization- Implement and ensure system security standards (firewalls, network)- Automate build and deployment procedures- Conduct database administration on GemStone- Write scripts in Python, Ruby, and Bash- Use Git for version control- Manage continuous integration tasks with Jenkins- Handle configuration management using Chef Qualifications: - At least an Honours degree (or 4 years equivalent) in software focused discipline- Experience with Linux (Ubuntu), Docker, Nginx, and GemStone- Proficiency in scripting with Python, Ruby, and Bash- Experience in continuous integration with Jenkins- Knowledgeable in network and firewall security- Skills in system design to handle complex problems Working for us, you will: - Be able to work from any location with a flexible schedule (requires a high level of self-discipline and robust work ethic)- Be part of a team of experienced professionals (necessitates strong communication skills, inquisitiveness, and a love for learning)- Enjoy the challenge of solving complex problems each day.
