Analyse existing structures (poles, truss towers, guyed towers, etc.) for lateral and vertical loads and determine overall capacity of a given structure.Produce drawings (CAD) regarding the installation, construction, or modifications to telecommunication structures.Approval of detailed construction methodologies produced by the project teamsApproval of inspection and test plans produced by the project teamsReview and approval of structural calculations and reportsReview submissions for quality and sufficiencyCarry out progress reporting, including the identification of relevant issues, risks and opportunities; this includes input to the project integrated planProvide realistic programme status, identify problem areas and implement agreed recovery plansPrepare and submit reports to theManager, Engineering Projects on all matters pertaining to the unit's work activities.Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by theManager, Engineering ProjectsCOMPETENCIESCivil and structural engineeringProject ManagementCapital OptimizationLogistics ManagementContract ManagementExcellent knowledge of various MS applications, preferably advanced MS Excel, MS Word, & Power-PointSelf-disciplined, self-motivated and the ability to organize and prioritize time effectivelyTHE WAY WE WORKWe are customer focused, understanding that we continuously must surpass our customers' expectations.
