Video Editor

We are currently on the lookout for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to elevate the quality of our video content, aiming for a premium look reminiscent of Masterclass-style productions. As an essential member of our content creation team, you will significantly influence the visual storytelling that defines our brand.Your responsibilities will include editing a diverse array of video content such as branded videos, user-generated content (UGC), and advertisements to ensure all output maintains a high-quality, premium standard. You will work closely with our production team to develop compelling narratives, ensuring consistency and excellence across all video materials.Collaboration with the creative and marketing teams is crucial to grasp project requirements and engage in the initial planning phases. You are expected to bring expert knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve, and we support your choice of tools.Your role will also involve managing and organizing all post-production workflows, including editing, color grading, sound design, and final rendering, with all content delivered in 4K resolution. Keeping up to date with industry trends and incorporating new techniques to enhance production quality will be essential.To qualify for this position, you should have proven experience as a Video Editor with a portfolio that showcases a premium aesthetic in video projects. Strong technical skills in video editing software and a comprehensive understanding of post-production processes are required. You must have an excellent sense of pacing and visual storytelling, a keen eye for detail, the ability to work independently, and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Experience working with 4K video content and an understanding of the technical challenges associated with high-resolution video editing are crucial.
