Senior Software Test Engineer (ForgeRock) We're looking for an experienced Test Engineer with strong ForgeRock knowledge Be part of our talented Test Engineering team within Insurance Technology Brisbane location with great employee benefits & WFH flexibility About the role The role of Senior Software Test Engineer ForgeRock exists to work with the team to develop and provide guidance on how to integrate all types of testing throughout the Software Development Life Cycle ensuring that the quality of the solution and resulting test artefacts and results meet Suncorp's requirements. The Software Test Engineer is responsible for driving and delivering automated testing frameworks based on industry best practice and principles.

Having excellent ForgeRock knowledge, they are responsible for test quality and the end-to-end testing cycle of initiatives that ensure our delivery is best practice. The Software Test Engineer will mentor and guide other Software Test Engineers and are accountable for testing output. 

What you'll do Provide thought leadership in QA practices, and continuously drive improvements Lead and execute testing strategies, process improvements and standards Ensure that the relevant levels and types of testing needed to produce quality software (e.g., functional, system, integration, regression, performance, security, accessibility, compatibility, maintainability, etc.) are executed and planned into the delivery lifecycle Support the creation, maintenance and reuse of test artefacts Work with the team to deliver both automated and manual tests to meet delivery milestones What you'll bring  5+ years' experience in a Software Test Engineer / Test Lead role Experience in testing ForgeRock application, services Experience in API automation Experience in Cypress, Playwright, Selenium Previous experience leading and mentoring junior Test Engineers Experience in adopting or implementing test automation frameworks Demonstrated support of high availability production systems What we can offer you Competitive benefits package and excellent work culture Excellent discounts on a range of retail favourite stores as well as banking and insurance products A range of flexible working and leave options, including 20 weeks paid parental leave and unlimited paid emergency response leave Invest in your brighter future with ongoing study support and career development programs About Suncorp Group We're proud to be a part of the Suncorp Group family alongside some of Australia's most trusted and diverse names in insurance.
