The Digital Health Solutions team are seeking a Senior Application Specialist, Innovations AO7 on a fixed term temporary full-time basis until 30 June 2026 to ensure the maintenance of defined service levels for specific enterprise applications by providing customer focused, high level specialist advice and support.

This successful candidate will be required to provide ownership for the DHS ICT Change Management processes in line with ITIL best practice standards and delivered on schedule.

In addition to this you will be responsible for: 

Provide effective change management, capacity planning, risk management and continuity planning utilising best practices in systems support and service delivery, with the ITIL framework. Develop and maintain the processes, procedures, and related systems, including stakeholder management and vendor engagement. Lead changes required as per the roadmap, at the request of the Operations manager. Ensure compliance and optimal performance of enterprise service levels by managing and performing the dissemination and implementation of policies, processes and standards for technical configuration of the enterprise infrastructure. Maintain and manage effective working relationships and engage with third parties that provide technical support for the enterprise infrastructure. Lead, manage and mentor a team at strategic and operational levels in the integrated operation of complex enterprise information systems to achieve defined service levels. Are you right for this role? Demonstrated ability in developing and promoting ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / test / change and configuration management (SFIA: USUP Level 4, PBMG Level 4, CHMG Level 4, CFMG Level 3, TEST Level 3) Demonstrated ability in the provision of high-level specialist advice on, and support for, clinical enterprise applications (SFIA: TECH Level 5) High level leadership and design of large scale, complex/high risk projects (SFIA Code: PRMG 6) High level project management skills, with the ability to achieve successful project outcomes (SFIA Code: PRMG 6 (NHS: Drive for Results) High level knowledge and application of project management methodologies (Prince 2) (SFIA Code: METL 5) Demonstrated ability to ensure that service delivery meets agreed service levels in a customer focused ICT / Clinical Business environment (SFIA: SLMO Level 4) Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing) Well-developed ability to build and maintain appropriate relationships with team members, other technical specialists, application specialists, vendors and end users (NHS: Collaborative Working) Previous experience working with ieMR applications is preferred About eHealth Queensland: eHealth Queensland is one of the largest Information Communication Technology operations in the state.
