The successful candidate will be responsible for developing solution designs, database builds, and providing operational support. Ideally, you'll bring a strong background in SQL Server databases, both on-premises and Azure Cloud, and a proven track record of driving value through automation, platform development, and migration. This role requires at least Baseline level security clearance. What you'll do: As a Senior DBA, you will play a pivotal role in designing and building optimally performing SQL Server databases on both on-premises and Azure Cloud platforms. Responsibilities will include; * Design and build optimally performing SQL Server databases, both on-premises and Azure Cloud * Identify technical and process resolutions from business stakeholders' requirements * Develop automation or self-service tools for DevOps teams * Evaluate alternative solutions, standards, and technology paths * Build relationships with Product, Operations and Account Executives to identify customer needs * Create solution designs for complex customer bids in the dedicated hosting product * Support hosting pre-sales and sales teams in their customer RFP responses and product designs * Optimize people, process and technology resources to deliver committed service parameters * Lead the design and install of complex Cloud Services What you bring: The ideal candidate for the Senior DBA role will bring a wealth of experience in SQL Server Architecture, with proven abilities in design, build, and support of SQL Server Availability Group.
