Electrical / Project Controls Engineer; ECG Electrical Engineering Perth Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Engineering)ECG Engineering  are leaders in the Electrical Engineering space, delivering design and project delivery services to the Mining, Utilities, Materials Handling and Industrial sectors with extensive and proven capabilities in Australia, and around the world.With offices in  Perth, Brisbane, Toronto, Manila & Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania , ECG have the capability to design and deliver on complex projects, from early study work to commissioning and handover, drawing on the expertise of senior ECG personnel who have worked together for 30 + years.We require an Electrical / Project Controls Engineer to join the Project Delivery Team, to aid in the delivery and execution of complex engineering projects across Australia and around the world.The Electrical / Project Controls Engineer role will suit any Electrical Engineer or construction or resource sector professional with 2 to 10 years experience who has a passion for working in a major project environment and being a part of the team that pulls the projects together, then executes the strategy, from study and design to construction commissioning and handover.The position is Perth based with occasional site visits.The ideal applicant will have experience in electrical engineering packages .ECG are extensively involved in the renewables space : most of our project work involves the evaluation of the renewables option as a client priority.While an engineering qualification will be an advantage, we will look at those holding commercial and legal qualifications, as well as construction economics, as long as the requisite experience stacks up. The role will require strong organizational and communication skills, as they will be working in an occasionally frantic environment, where many projects are running across Australia and around the world.Key Experience required.B Eng / Diploma Electrical (ideally)Major project experience, both office and siteConstruction experience: understanding the processes and linkagesExperience - exposure to the engineering environment and the process of creating, revising and issuing engineering drawingsExposure - understanding of the scheduleExperience - exposure to Project Controls and PlanningIdeally experience in electrical engineering and associated plant and packagesSkills and Attributes requiredEngineering / business / legal / construction economics degreeStrong report writing and written communication skillsModerate to good Excel and Project Wise knowledgeExperience in Project Forecasting and PlanningTendering and Estimating experienceMicrosoft Office Experience specificallyo Excelo Wordo PowerpointMicrosoft Project / P6 experienceUltra positive work attitude, keen to work in a fast-paced role where organization is criticalWorking with a seasoned project delivery team delivering full technical support and oversight, and an Ops Manager running an established staff with very low turnover, this is an ideal role for anyone seeking a hands-on, multiple project Electrical / Project Controls Engineer role.
