Junior Project Manager

A major Canberra building contractor requires a Site / Project Engineer for a Jnr PM vacancy. Your new company A major Canberra building contractor that has a strong pipeline of works requires an experienced Site / Project Engineer who wants to advance into a Junior Project Manager position.



Your new role Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the team to deliver multiple $1-15M refurbishment projects concurrently. Day to day you will be responsible for:

Assist in development of the project schedules / programs Review and contribute to procurement of materials and subcontractors Assess subcontract variations and progress claims Monthly progress reporting Monitor quality and construction progress Identify and assess any project risks. Whilst given the opportunity to take full ownership of some smaller CAPEX projects. What you'll need to succeed Ideally a Bachelors degree in Construction or Engineering or equivalent Demonstrated experience on commercial construction site Well-rounded experience working on commercial projects $10m+ Strong technical understanding of construction methodology A committed and motivated attitude High level communication and stakeholder management skills Strong time management and organisation skills What you'll get in return Generous salary package circa $120k - $140k + super Work with a fantastic national organisation that value their people - brilliant culture and team, supported by strong construction leaders Be involved in technical, career defining projects Opportunity to have a long-term career with continual progression opportunity with a well-respected company What you need to do now If you're interested in this role please call William Ballam on or email .
