Permanent opportunity to join the Credit Assurance Team for our Institutional BankFlexible Hybrid working environment  Open to any location across AustraliaHow will I help? We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Manager in Credit Assurance within our Credit Risk division. This role is pivotal in monitoring and enhancing the quality of credit origination and decision-making processes in our Institutional Bank. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing, validating, and ensuring the resolution of risk issues in our corporate and institutional lending activities.

In this role you'll join the credit assurance team for our Institutional Bank, ensuring high-quality credit origination, local decisioning, and effective credit risk control. This includes conducting targeted and regular reviews of customer portfolios and identifying areas of emerging risk.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the develop of the annual credit risk management assurance plan.Review and assess risk management policies and practices.Identify control weaknesses in credit risk management.Conduct targeted reviews and propose proactive management solutions.Build and maintain productive working relationships with business partners.What's in it for me? What do I need? You're a professional with a rich background in banking or financial services and have current experience in credit decisioning or credit assurance within an institutional banking environment. You possess a robust understanding of risk management practices and regulatory requirements pertinent to the sector.

You strive for continuous improvement and have excellent problem solving skills with the ability to identify problems and develop practical solutions. With strong collaboration skills, you are a team player and have the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams towards achieving common goals. This ability extends to having excellent communication skills, where you can articulate ideas clearly and persuasively to a variety of stakeholders.
