Coordinate and lead Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives. Serve as a servant-leader, advocating for the team and eliminating obstacles to enhance productivity and collaboration. Stay abreast of Agile principles, methodologies, and best practices, whilst coaching the development team on Scrum methodologies. Foster understanding and adoption of the Scrum framework, roles, and responsibilities among team members. Encourage continuous improvement and experimentation within the team. Maintain and update Scrum artifacts, such as the Product Backlog and Sprint Backlog Facilitate communication and collaboration between the development team and stakeholders, including the Product Owner, customers, and management, particularly during Sprint Showcases. Ensure smooth onboarding of new team members to JIRA, providing guidance on navigation, issue management (user stories, tasks, bugs), and status updates. Skills & Experience Previous experience working as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role, preferably in software development or IT projects Possession of relevant Agile and Scrum certifications, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent. Experience with Jira desirable Ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies effectively, ensuring they are focused, productive, and engaging for all participants Strong communication skills, including active listening, clarity in articulation, and the ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders.
