Technical Procurement Officer

Quick Release (QR_) is a subsidiary of The Alten Group located in Australia. Our engineers carry out complex and highly technical projects throughout the product development chain of the most prestigious companies in sectors including Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, Energy, Manufacturing, Public Sector and Life Sciences.  QR_ is currently expanding its activity in Australia and we are looking for a technical procurement specialist to join our team starting in Q1 2024 Requirements Define technical delivery parameters and develop statements of work for technical services. Review proposals and select service provider resources. Review current supplier base and consider and suggest improvements. Coordinate with engineering and finance departments Work within a technical procurement team with engineers and other technical specialists Provide analysis of procurement data for reporting and the selection process. Must have:   3+ years' experience in procurement (engineering or technical field an advantage) Demonstrated experience working with statements of work and requests for quotes in a professional service delivery environment. Ability to collaborate and work in a team. Good written and verbal communication skills  Eligibility for security clearance is required.  Nice to have:   Experience creating engineering statements of work.
