Job Description As the Head Office Finance Manager you will lead the development of accounting policies and ensure adequate and effective controls are in place. Alongside this, you will be responsible for the efficient utilisation of Finance Systems and also manage and provide backup to the payroll function. Other key responsibilities will include the following:

Working alongside the finance team to drive timely month end close, reconciliations, review and provide analysis to relevant stakeholders.Provide leadership and coordination in external financial reporting and internal management reportingGeneral ledger maintenance and postings and reviewManage Payroll function and senior payroll officer and provide support as required.Review BAS, FBT returns and other legislative submissions.Ad-hoc project work including integration of future acquisitionsHead Office budgets and forecasts The Successful Applicant The successful applicant will have the following:

Be or CA or CPA qualified with extensive experience of working in a similar finance manager or financial controller position in a medium sized listed or complex organisation.Previous experience overseeing a complex payroll function would be highly advantageous.You will be an ambitious and motivated candidate with a passion for implementing positive change, both from a process improvement and technical accounting perspective.
