Job Description Verkada is looking for a Sales Development Manager (Marketing) that will hire, develop and train a highly driven and hardworking team of lead qualification professionals! The Marketing Sales Development team is the first interaction with prospective Verkada customers and is key to the success of Verkada.

Our ideal candidate for this role has proven experience in managing, building, and encouraging a team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly/quarterly targets. In addition to delivering feedback to demand generation regarding the quality of leads, you'll help maintain open lines of communication with the sales organization at Verkada.

ResponsibilitiesHire, mentor, and lead a team of Sales Development Reps (Marketing)Develop the sales, product, and industry skills of each team memberEmpower team members through creative incentivesRegularly report on Team/Individual Results - lead quantity, quality, and revenueWork closely with our Growth Marketing teamWork closely with Sales Managers and AEs to ensure lead quality/quantity and accurate follow-up.Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency, and productivity.Requirements2+ years in Software sales, preferably in SaaS/Customer Support/Sales/CRM software1+ years of management experience, with a consistent track record of building a great working environmentBachelor's degree from an accredited UniversityConsistent results of 100%+ of quota achievement as an individual contributorOutstanding time management and communication skillsSolid understanding of sales tools (Salesforce, Outreach, Zoominfo, etc.)Experience leading and improving critical metricsExperience running successful 1 on 1's and weekly/monthly team meetingsExperience handling individual and management expectations (Managing Up)Perks & BenefitsSignificant equity in a rapidly growing startupGenerous company paid medical & dental insurance coverageFertility benefitsWellness allowanceMonthly commuterbenefitsKitchen filled with drinks and snacks & daily food allowance when working from the officeVerkada Australia PTY LTD is an equal opportunity employer.
