Project Engineer - Brisbane, Australia

Silverstrand is seeking a Project Engineer to become akey part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team.You will be based in on our Brisbane/ Various projects and employed on a permanent basis. About the role Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Engineer is responsible for: Ensuring that the project works are completed safely and in compliance with Silverstrand and our client's procedures, engineering drawings/ specifications, budgets and timeframes Prepare, monitor and update plans and working to weekly and monthly programs Provide engineering and technical advice to the project team Assist with Procurement of key subcontractors and suppliers Ensuring quality requirements are being met Programming and planning of the works Preparing monthly financial reports including cost to complete forecasts Essential Skills and Experience Civil Engineering Degree or similar 5+ years' experiencein an engineering capacity on civil infrastructure projects Ability to read and understand civil, structural and services drawings Manage and raise technical queries Knowledge of construction scheduling and sequencing Manage budgets for subcontractors/suppliers Understanding of Quality Control Systems Excellent safety record from previous projects What's on offer Competitive salary based on the successful candidate's experience A permanent position with a growing civil construction company A site-based position to further develop your skills as a Civil Engineer and no two days will be the same Sponsorship is available for the right candidate About Us Silverstrand is a privately ownedand operated contractor operating across Australasia since 2008, providing quality delivery in all areas of both civil and structural construction works in metro, regional and remote areas.
