Senior Document Controller

Role purpose Responsible to the Director, Design and Director, Building & Technology - New Melton Hospital Project (Project), the Senior Document Controller will be responsible for supporting the Project team to deliver the Project on time and on budget through managing client relationships, monitoring and performance reporting, records management and document control including supporting the design submission process. From time to time, the Senior Document Controller may also be required to provide support and guidance to a range of projects within the Victorian Health Building Authority's broader Public Private Partnership (PPP) and High Value/High Risk program. Victorian Health Building Authority The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. Our diverse projects span the health, mental health and aged care portfolios across metropolitan, regional and rural settings and ambulance branches across Victoria. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines. Project: New Melton Hospital Project As part of the Victorian Budget 2022/23, the Victorian Government has committed up to $1 billion to deliver the New Melton Hospital (Project) as a Public Private Partnership. Operated by Western Health and to be fully electric, the new hospital will include a 24-hour emergency department, at least 395 Points of Care (including, more than 100 medical and surgical beds), an intensive care unit, maternity and neonatal services, mental health services, radiology services and ambulatory care. The new Melton Hospital will be developed on the site located at 245- 267 Ferris Road, Cobblebank, within the future Cobblebank Metropolitan Activity Centre and close to the Cobblebank train station and Western Freeway - supporting the growing and diverse communities of Caroline Springs, Rockbank, Melton and Bacchus Marsh. Once completed, Melton Hospital will have capacity to treat 130,000 patients each year and see almost 60,000 patients in the emergency department.
