Football Coach (Grade 7)

Position Details PURPOSE: Position is responsible for coaching student-athletes in game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competitions. Position motivates student-athletes to develop an appreciation of the sport.PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Teaching certificate.Previous experience coaching Middle School Football. MINIMUM QUALIFICAITONS High School Diploma.Previous coaching of football. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to develop drill and practice activities that teach and enhance individual/team skill development that makes up the game.Have knowledge of sport rules and strategiesAbility to plan and enforce appropriate safety and health rules and regulations.Ability to communicate in a professional manner.Ability to be an effective communicator with all audiences- players, parents, supervisors, peers and spectators.Maintain proper communication with high school head coaches to ensure a 7-12 philosophy is being implemented in the best way possible for the sport. HOURS/LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 2024-25 School Year - Summer conditioning and football season.SALARY/BENEFITS: As per HEA Contract.
