As the Branch Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Recycled Rain and Commercial Plumbing and Fire Supplies branch. This position includes the supervision of the Internal Sales and Warehouse Teams You are responsible for overseeing the complete operational functions of the Branch.

In this role you will:

Report to General Manager and provide support to Sales Manager to ensure KPI's and targets are met. Manage and maintain the internal software, from sales, purchasing invoicing, credits, stock maintenance & stock control including margin on sales.  Coordinate the management of all customer quotes and manage the follow up on all quotes. Firm up relationships with clients and all account holders within our business. Ensure the Branch is offering our customers the very best service and support, required to maintain their ongoing support. Manage the day-to-day operational responsibilities of the sales department. Implement specific procedures around back orders, invoicing, credit control, warehouse activity, safety, error identification and corrective actions. Produce annual sales forecasting reports and provide regular updates to senior management. Report on external sales customer activity, sales, product requirements for customers, stock quality and control. Relationship Management Account manage and firm up relationships with major client accounts creating further opportunities for business. Effectively manage client relationships and actively source new clients. Provide internal sales support and assist when required to support the Branch on Customer Service / Internal Sales. Implement customer product discount policy and procedures and manage sales and feedback Manage freight across local and regional activity ensuring that key relationships are built, maintained, and cost and efficiency savings are a priority Leadership Develop and implement strategies that create further efficiencies within the operational and sales team Review and monitor operational, sales and customer service strategies, policies and procedures and update where required Oversee the operational and sales teams and ensure policies and procedures are adhered to Manage performance reviews and development planning for team members and promote training opportunities Implement external sales team customer service procedures and ensure that they are adhered to Facilitate regular 1:1's with team members, monthly team meetings to discuss sales, operational and product updates Develop sales targets and KPI's for team members and monitor key successes and trends.  Lead workplace health and safety legislation and guidelines for the business Maintain and deliver continuous improvement plans and initiatives. General Live our people and brand values. Actively participate in project work, meetings and monthly 1:1 discussions. Meet confidentiality standards across our business. Provide support to our induction program for new starters. Act as a "buddy support" to new starters when required. Be available for all training sessions and meetings organised. Assist team members where possible as and when required. Assist with process improvements and prepare policy and procedure documentation where required. Education/Qualifications Certificate in Management/Logistics/Sales and Marketing or similar degree and/or qualification is desirable. Experience Experience in a comparable management or operational position is highly desirable. Understanding and passion for the industry. Experience working in a warehouse/industrial/plumbing and fire fitting's environment or similar. Intermediate computer skills and/or working with databases e.g.: Microsoft Office and Sales databases. Understanding of industry relevant processes and practices for business. Skills  Strong leadership capability that peers respond positively to Excellent technical capability understanding budgets, targets, KPI's and reporting High level of customer service skills and building positive working relationships. Solid communication (verbal and written) and active listening skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to problem solve and think on your feet quickly. Ability to multi-task and prioritise according to impact. Self-motivated with the ability to operate collectively. Team player - can do attitude and driven.
