Join Jetstar as Head of Network, Fleet Strategy & Planning . Reporting directly to our Executive Manager, Commercial Planning, you will lead the team responsible for developing both the Jetstar Group Fleet and Network strategy in Australia and Asia Pacific regions with the aim to optimise the overall Jetstar Group's margin position. You will deliver exceptional leadership to a team accountable for developing and executing a long-term fleet requirement strategy, assessing aircraft performance capability, developing the long-term network strategy and proposed capacity plan, capacity management activity, maintaining the network input for the company financial forecast process, and working collaboratively with a range of other functions to build a robust, operationally deliverable and profit maximising schedule.   

We are on the hunt for a highly experienced aviation professional with broad exposure to airline network planning and financial/strategic planning. Ideally, your significant airline experience will be complimented with solid exposure to management consulting and a great track record in partnering with multiple geographies and cultures, particularly Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific.

To be considered, your key skills will include: Relevant tertiary qualifications, coupled with post graduate qualifications (highly regarded) Functional knowledge of sales, marketing, distribution and customer facing business areas (highly regarded) In-depth knowledge of the airline industry and specifically Australia, New Zealand & Asia Pacific markets   Demonstrated ability to deliver in a strategic planning environment with a focus on transformation. Confident presenter whom is able to leverage your data analytics and airline modelling expertise to confidently influence at all levels of the organisation Proven ability to consider analytical inputs and diverse qualitative inputs to make top quality decisions, bring a balanced and measured approach to risk Genuine passion for leading and developing others, including SMEs and managers. Critical to achieving success in this role will be your relentless focus on driving the Jetstar Group network strategy by working together and influencing the various stakeholders across both Jetstar and Qantas Group, as well as working effectively with external parties such as Airport and Tourism bodies.   

This role requires a leader who is able to travel internationally to partner effectively with our Jetstar Brand Airline Teams. In return, a flexible and hybrid working environment is on offer to the successful candidate.
